Take In / Out

When a garment is too large or too small in the bust, waist or hips. Too large, it needs taken in. Too small it needs taken out. A garment can always be taken in, however if it is more than two sizes too big it could alter the original look of the garment. A garment can be taken out as much as the seam allowance will allow, there are other options like panels though.
